It is mentioned in many authentic books as one of the best supplications when it comes to both the text and chain of narration. Therefore, when we stand humbly in the presence of Imam ʿAlī (a), his grandson Imam al-Sajjād (a) gives us the formula on how to address the Imam and how to send our salutation to him. When you stand in front of the shrine of the Imam, it is advisable for you to show your love with kind words, befitting of his high status, and to greet him in a good manner, a greeting worthy of the Imam, and this is among the etiquettes of visiting the holy Infallibles.Ziyārat Amīnullāh is one of the most important supplications narrated for visiting the Commander of the Faithful, Imam ʿAlī (a). The believer should contemplate its lofty meanings, whether in the expressions of salutations or in the expressions of supplication, so that his visitation is based on certain knowledge, and so that the recitation of it is not merely a flutter of the tongue.
