Stories told by Friendly Womack, the firstborn and last living of the famous Womack Brothers musical career written by their long term friend and forever fan, Grahame Joyce. Their beginning was in the coal mines of West Viginia where their father worked, Their family moved to Cleveland, Ohio and their dad sang with the musical group "The Voices of Love." The group would practice at the Womack's home and after they would leave their fives boys began to imitate the Group in a comical way. Their walked in while they were mocking the group and the boys were frightened and thought they were going to be punished; however, their dad had prayed for five boys to start a musical group and was overjoyed. He went out and bought a guitar and practiced the boys frequently. From there they sang in local churches and on many venues all the way to The Rockin ' Roll Halls of Fame. Read more
