Miles Sol-Kut is premium quality soluble oil. The emulsions in this product provide excellent tcoling, lubricity, and rust protection for use in a wide range of grinding and machining operations. It exhibits a milky white appearance. RECOMMENDATIONS: Miles SOL-KUT is typically recommended for use at water/oil ratios of 20:1 to 40:1 in drilling, forming, planning, milling, sawing and turning operations on a variety of carbon and alloy steels ranging from soft to medium hardness, particularly where carbide tip toolings are being used. Miles SOL-KUT is suited for light machining and is especially recommended for grinding operations where very clean emulsion are typically required to permit rapid settling of fines. This feature helps the emulsion keep the circulating lines clean and allows free flow of coolant to the workpiece. The absence of recycled grinding dirt in the emulsion keeps grinding wheels free cutting, thus, producing excellent finishes and promoting longer wheel life. It readily emulsifies and forms very stable emulsions even with relatively hard waters and at high dilution ratios.
