• BASECAMP SHELTER - Mountaineers, climbers and summit-seekers -this one’s for you! Our Guard Station mountaineering dome brings durable, basecamp-ready design and materials to high-altitude expeditions. House the entire crew, use as a medical tent, mess hall or command center. The dome shape minimizes snow and wind load; the DAC exoskeleton pole system maximizes architectural strength and creates extensive livable space.
• WE GOT YOU COVERED – Fly is Dominico undyed polyester rip-stop made with high tenacity yarns which increase tear strength by 20-25% over standard nylon or polyester rip-stop fabrics. Also provides high UV resistance and stability during temperature and moisture fluctuations, allowing for a solid and stable pitched tent. Fly material uses a unique pigment-dye coloring process that resists fading and increases UV resistance.
• FULL FEATURED – Peek at the peak through one of six windows without opening doors. Windows can be opened for venting or closed up tight in extreme weather; also features two ceiling vents for air flow. The single-wall structure minimizes bad-weather impact during set up. An Accessory Body is available that creates a separate living and sleeping space that takes up half the area of the shelter - sold separately.
• READY TO PITCH with pre-cut guy lines and tensioners. Heavy duty reflective guy lines and webbing on tent corners make your tent easily visible. All seams taped with waterproof, solvent-free polyurethane tape (No PVC or VOC's). Trail weight is 18 lb. 7 oz. and packs down to 10 x 15 x 24 inches. Carry bag with backpack straps included
